DEFStan 80-122 – Defence Coatings

We offer stoving paint systems for DEFStan 80-122, infra-red reflecting camouflage in Nato Green, Black and Desert Tan.

DEFStan 80-166 – Defence Coatings

DEFStan 80-166 is a two pack air drying IRR matt paint system for defence equipment.
This Specification covers the requirements for an extremely durable, exterior finishing scheme providing a chemically resistant, near matt surface which exhibits specified infra-red reflecting properties complying with DEF STAN 00 – 23 and STANAG 2338.

DEFStan 80-208/9 CARC Coatings

We offer both the DEFStan 80-208 and DEFStan 80-209 CARC high solids two pack polyurethane finishes designed for use on military vehicles and ground equipment. When used over an appropriate primer, the finishing scheme satisfies the infra-red camouflage requirements of DEF-STAN 00-23 and the chemical agent resistance requirements of DEF STAN 00-72. Matt finish.

DEFStan 80-152 Defence Coatings

DEFStan 80-152 is a stoving finish for instruments. This finish produces a coating offering excellent chemical and physical properties and the full system is capable of resisting many acids, alkalis and detergents. The full system is used on such items as telecommunication equipment and fire control instruments.

DEFStan 80-153 Defence Coatings (Matt Light Stone)

DEFStan 80-153 is an air drying finish for defence equipment with IRR. The finish colour is a matt light stone. This Matt Finish relates to an air drying paint system for service vehicles and certain ancillary electronic equipment; affording protection in both temperate and tropical climates.

DEFStan 80-161 Defence Coatings (Nato Green or White)

DEFStan 80-161 is a Nato green or white high solids low VOC based two pack epoxy finish designed for use on military vehicles, telecommunications and ground equipment. Benefits:-

DEFStan 80-41 Defence Coatings

DEFStan 80-41 is an air drying high build IRR alkyd finishing system for defence equipment.
This system covers the requirements for a durable exterior finishing system for service vehicles and certain ancillary electronic equipment, affording protection in both temperate and tropical climates and with specified Infra-red reflecting (IRR) properties.

DEFStan 80-48 Defence Coatings

DEFStan 80-48 is a general service stove enamel.This specification relates to an exterior quality lead free stoving gloss paint for general service use. This finish should be applied over the recommended primer to provide optimum protection.

DEFStan 80-51 is a stoving paint system for service vehicles and certain ancillary electronic equipment: affording protection in both temperate and tropical climates.

DEFStan 80-54 Defence Coatings

An air dry spray for general service use. This specification is an exterior quality lead free air drying paint for general service use. It will normally be specified as a finish over a Ministry Approved Primer.
